CGSS ROCKS!

Went to Cedar Girls' for orientation today. Woke up at 6am & went out of the house at 6 .30 something am.Second day (for me), at Cedar's holding site. Not much difference, just that I'm not with my father, but with people I don't know(yet). I'm posted to secondary 1N. At first, I felt as though I don't belong, but after that, when I went to 1N and sat for a while as the other students who have not reached streaming into 1N classroom. I was looking at the student leaders as they entertain us. Then Joy, one of the student leaders, from choir CCA, gaped, so I turned to look behind and saw my schoolmate in nan chiau uniform, who was from 6C, I was so elated to know that I'm not alone. Heehee. After all the pupils in the class settled down, the prefects/student leaders start taking our attendence and explained that this are not our temporary classroom, for some. After ticking the attendence, Joy asked if anyone's name wasn't called. Some girls, including me, raised our hands, then those other girls asked if class 1N was classroom 7, Joy laughed and said no, as 1N is classroom 8. Joy then asked me out to look at the list of attendence, and i pointed at my name, which isn't written in bold, so Joy asked me if I was a special transfer-in student and I nodded my head. So Grace, another student leader, brought me to the general office. Then went up again 'cause the teacher said that I am permently in 1N, for next year (2008). While walking back up, Grace and I chatted for a while. She was very nice and welcoming. At that time, I felt a sense of belonging. After we went back, Joy was already half-way reading the list of which class each student in this temporary class are going to be in next year. I went to seat beside my schoolmate, i forgot her name. I chatted with her and she was going to 1A, though she got the same marks as me. But, she's taking higher chinese while I have not comfirmed if I am going to take it a not. After a while in the classroom, we were brought to the hall where we sat accordingly to the classes we're posted to next year before the principle welcomed us and gave a speech, then Grace, who was the head prefect, (I didn't know) went up to brief us on the school rules, etc.After that, there were two MCs (seniors) who taught us some school cheers. They also demostrated for us, together with the student leaders present at the hall.WOW! They were really LOUD & ENTHUSIASTIC, whereas the sec 1s were really soft and sounded restless. HAHA, after that we went back to class and sat for a while before proceeding on to the canteen to have our tea break.There was muffins, sandwiches and soft drinks, I chose soya bean milk.After that, we played games, it was fun, especially the last game which really brought 1N together.I LOVE IT!Finally, we assembled at the hall for CCA briefing and exhibition. Everyone was dismissed after the briefing, to take a look at the different CCA booths/stations.Since I made up my mind on joining the Dance CCA, I just walked one round around the hall then went down, by that time, it was already 11 going to 12.I still had to wait until 1 'cause I needed to buy 2 sets of PE attire, 1 set of Uniform and 3 pairs of socks(white), so I walked around the school and then wrote the events in my notebook I brought.I WAS SO TIRED!I met Hillary, Melissa & 3 other girls whom I can't remember their names. I partnered Hillary who is from CHIJ in serangoon.I sat between Melissa and Hillary. Melissa was from a girls' school (I forgot which *blush*).Melissa was really shy at first, but she was very nice and we got along well after that.Hillary was funny but SUPER quiet and soft, though she isn't shy.
